Thick as thieves [DVD]

Frank Riles, heir to a supermarket chain, tasks Mackin with stealing a quarter of a million dollars in bonds that are being printed in Detroit. Pointy Willims, Mackin's contact, betrays him by giving himself away to the police. Mackin, who has managed to escape the siege to which he had been subjected, decides to take revenge, with the help of his colleagues Bob and Rodney. When agents Tenesco and Louise Petrone learn of Mackin's plan to settle Pointy's score, they give Malone the information. As a result of the tip-off, the news of the robbery, the escape and the settling of accounts, thus appear in the press mentioning Riles as responsible. Riles, in order to calm things down and clear his name, asks them to sit down to negotiate and forget about personal vendettas.
